As a company founded on innovation, we’re inspired to support our next generation of innovators who demonstrate a passion for learning and a desire to pursue a higher education. Cox Charities awards college scholarships to graduating high school seniors across our California service areas. These Cox Scholars are pursuing careers in a STEM related field with a passion for giving back to their community, and we are proud to support them.
IMPORTANT: Cox Charities will be pausing our Cox Scholars program in 2022.

criteria
The Cox Charities scholarship criteria is:

Must be pursuing a career in a STEM related field.

High school seniors in Southern California who live in a Cox service area

Enrolling full-time at an accredited two or four-year university within the U.S.
-
Minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Active involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, or work experience

Demonstrated financial need

United States citizens or permanent resident
*Average amount of award: $1,000-$5,000
